To get started with HID Mobile Access, follow these simple steps to register your organization and begin issuing Mobile IDs:

Request User Account
Provide basic information and an account is established using a temporary password.
Step2
Finalize User Account
Log in with your temporary password and finalize your account details.
Step3
Set Up Organization
Enter the address where the secure configuration cards should be sent to your administrator.
Step4
Order & Install
You are ready to order HID Mobile Access products! Your HID reseller will assist you with installation and training.
Step 1 – Create an HID Mobile Access User Account
For your initial order, your organization must create an HID Mobile Access User Account in the HID Origo Management Portal:

During registration, provide the address where secure configuration cards for the organization administrator will be delivered.
Step 2 – Receive Your Mobile Keyset (MOB or ICE)
After registration, your organization will receive a Mobile Keyset — a set of cryptographic keys that must be loaded into the reader.
- The Mobile Keyset number is referred to as MOB.
- Alternatively, you may use ICE (issued through the HID Elite program) instead of the MOB when placing orders.
Step 3 – Load the Mobile Keyset into Readers
Depending on the reader type:
- HID Signo Readers (Mobile-Ready) – Load the Mobile Keyset using HID Reader Manager.
- iCLASS SE Readers (Mobile-Ready) – Use a Mobile Key Card to activate and personalize the reader.
- Mobile-Enabled Readers – Already activated and personalized for specific Mobile IDs.
Step 4 – Purchase Required Components
To operate HID Mobile Access, organizations must purchase:
- A valid subscription
- Compatible HID Signo or iCLASS SE readers
- A Mobile Key Card (required only for iCLASS Mobile-Ready readers)
Step 5 – Place Orders for Mobile IDs
Once your account is created and readers are prepared, you can begin submitting orders and issuing Mobile IDs to users.
Orders are strongly recommended in the Corporate 1000™ format. The format should match your traditional card ordering format to prevent duplicate credentials. Formats other than Indala are generally accepted.
Step 6 – Locate Your MOB, Facility Code, or Format (If Needed)
- Log in to the HID Origo Portal as an End User administrator.
- Select Mobile Identities Services.
- In the Organization Summary section, review:
- License counts (Total, Active, Available)
- Org ID
- License information

Prepaid Subscription
You purchase a set of subscription user licenses which are then consumed as you activate users. The Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for the Purchase Order (PO) is 20 per service. Your subscription will be automatically renewed unless otherwise stated. There are three period terms, one year, three years, or five years. Prepaid wallet is a 1 year subscription and requires the latest HID Origo portal version to get the best usage monitoring experience.
