We keep a large inventory of all items in our warehouse in Manhattan, NY, which allows us to process and ship your order very quickly. Most orders ship the same day!

If you wish to return an unopened or unused item, you may do so within 30 days of receipt. Please comply with the following to help us process your return:
  • Item must be unopened, unused and sealed.
  • Please ship your item in its original packaging
  • A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit. Printer ribbons may be exchanged with no restocking fee, provided that you receive pre-authorization. Please contact your sales representative for more information.
  • Software cannot be returned for any reason.


We are unable to accept any return of items that have already been opened unless you have received pre-authorization from us. If accepted, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit. Please contact your sales representative for more information.


If there is an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for the total amount of your order, including shipping charges.

Any items that you return to us must be in the original manufacturer's packaging. We suggest you keep the packaging (manuals, boxes, cables) for at least 30 days after your purchase.

Manufacturer Warranty

Most ID printers come with a standard two year warranty from the manufacturer, please see the manufacturers page for more details.  Some manufacturers also offer a loaner program while your printer is being repaired.  All parts and labor are covered through the warranty programs during the initial warranty period. 

Extended Warranty

IDSecurityOnline offers several extended warranty options for your convenience.  With an extended warranty, you can be sure that if your printer needs any repair it will be taken care of.  You made a big investment, now make sure that investment is protected for the years to come.  Extended warranty plans must be purchased before your manufacturer warranty expires.  IDSecurityOnline has available one, two, and three year extended warranties.  All parts, service, and labor are included on our extended warranty program.  Please contact one of our knowledgeable representatives today to discuss extended warranties.
