The HID Signo™ 20K Keypad Reader is a slim mullion-mount, multi-technology access control reader with an integrated keypad for PIN entry and enhanced authentication options. As part of the HID Signo reader family, it supports a wide array of credential types including HID Mobile Access® via Bluetooth® and NFC, contactless smart cards, and legacy 125 kHz proximity formats, delivering flexibility for modern and transitional access control systems.
Featuring EAL5+ certified secure element hardware, the Signo 20K protects cryptographic keys and credential data for secure authentication. It includes support for OSDP secure channel for encrypted bidirectional communication with access control panels, while also offering backward compatibility via Wiegand and clock-and-data. The slender mullion form factor makes it ideal for installation on narrow door frames and other tight spaces, and the built-in keypad supports PIN and multi-factor access workflows.
