The half-panel YMCKO design is optimized for cards where only part of the surface requires color printing, such as photo ID cards. The ribbon uses dye-sublimation technology for color panels (YMC) and thermal transfer resin for sharp black text (K), while the overlay panel applies a protective coating to help extend card durability. Each ribbon provides up to 400 prints and is automatically recognized by compatible printers for smooth and reliable operation.
