Zebra ZC100 ZC300 ZC350 Card Printer Overview

Zebra ZC100 Single Sided ID Card Printer Description

The Zebra ZC100 ID Single-Sided Card Printer - Compact, Secure, and Ready to Use

With its modular body and compact design, the ZC100 ID Card Printer is a fully-featured, single-sided printer that is perfect for both low and medium volume printing needs. The ZC100 ID Card Printer is ready to get to work as soon as you take it out of the box and is packed useful features designed to make card printer fast and easy. The printer card output hopper boasts saloon-style doors so that you can take out a single card or an entire stack of cards at one time. As the input and output hoppers are the same size they require less frequent emptying or refilling than many other printer models. The ZC100 single-sided card printer has a manual card feeder which is great for printing single cards but it is capable of producing 700 monochrome cards at a resolution of 300 dpi or 150 full-color cards in a single hour. You can check the status of all ongoing printing jobs using the LED display.

Features in detail:

Convenient thinline design

While earlier ID card printers were quite bulky the Zebra ZC100 employs advanced structural technology to create one of the thinnest, lowest clearance card printers available today. Instead of hiding the printer away in a corner the Zebra ZC100 can now be conveniently located almost anywhere in your office. You can even place it in a customer-facing space without overwhelming the space.

Plug-and-play operation

There is no complicated set-up procedure with this printer. When you take the ZC100 out of the box you can start printing as soon as you plug it in. The ZC100 printer features an intuitive driver interface, icons and tricolor printer status lights that make it simple to see exactly what is happening at any time while the improved hopper design allows cards to be loaded or unloaded with greater ease than ever before. If you want to run smaller print jobs then the manual card feed with LED bezel will make it a breeze.

Simpler card production

With some types of printer, you will find yourself needing to print test cards to make sure everything is in order and to see how your design looks in practice before you can get started printing the cards you need. The Zebra ZC100 printer does away with test cards entirely. The robust print driver and simple interface navigation let you see the appearance of your card before it is printed. You can even determine the effect of any settings change to your chosen design without wasting time and cards by actually printing out the design.

Easy maintenance

From time-to-time, every printer will need to have the monochrome or color ribbon replaced. The ZC100 takes all of the guesswork out of the process. The embedded smart chips will let you know that it is time to replace the ribbon. The Zebra ZC100 allows either ribbon to be removed and fitted with a single motion of the printer door handle.

Protected data

ID card security is a serious matter for any company. The Zebra ZC100 card printer employs advanced security such as government-level data encryption and printer-to-host authentication to stop the unauthorized printing of cards and prevent sensitive data from being captured by unauthorized individuals.

Great options

Encoding: How do you want to encode your cards? Whether you are printing ID badges, gift cards or even credit cards with the ZC100 you can select whatever encoding option suits you best. You can even add a swipe-and-go magnetic stripe during the printing process.

Ethernet: While in many cases you will want to operate the Zebra ZC100 as a standalone badging station it is also possible to configure it to operate via Ethernet so that you can manage your ID card printing from elsewhere by using your company network.
