A Badge Station for Growing Card Programs

Produce employee, student, and membership cards at your enrollment station. This Fargo DTC4250e system brings together a single-sided printer, a 250-print YMCKO ribbon, 500 white CR80 30 mil PVC cards, Asure ID Solo 7 software, and a Logitech C920S Pro HD webcam.

Detailed Cards with Convenient Operation

Dye-sublimation creates full-color photos and logos at 300 dpi, while resin thermal transfer adds clear black text and barcodes. A YMCKO card prints in about 16 seconds, and the SmartScreen graphical display provides prompts and printer status. This configuration has a 100-card input hopper and an output capacity of up to 100 cards.

Local and Network Printing

Use USB 2.0 for a direct computer connection or the built-in Ethernet interface and internal print server for network access. Password-protected printer operation helps control use. Compatible duplex, alternate hopper, and encoding upgrades are available separately as card program requirements change.

Color Ribbon and Blank Cards

The included Fargo 45100 EZ YMCKO ribbon provides up to 250 single-sided prints. Its color panels reproduce images, resin black sharpens text, and the clear overlay covers the printed surface. The cartridge incorporates a cleaning roller. The 500 supplied PVC cards measure 3.375 x 2.125 inches and are 30 mil thick, without a magnetic stripe or smart chip.

Layout Design and Enrollment Photos

Digitally delivered Asure ID Solo 7 lets users combine text, photos, logos, and linear barcodes and retain up to 200 cardholder records. The C920S webcam offers 1080p video at 30 fps, a glass lens, autofocus, automatic light correction, and a privacy shutter for the photo station.

Accessories and Coverage

The kit includes a USB cable, US/international power cords, printer driver and user guide CD, quick start guide, and three cleaning cards. Both the printer and printhead carry a three-year warranty. Fluorescent panel printing requires a separate compatible ribbon; the supplied YMCKO ribbon has no fluorescent panel.
