Zebra ZC350 Dual-Sided Photo ID System

This system combines a ZC350 dual-sided direct-to-card printer with the supplies and tools for photo ID production. The printer delivers 300 dpi color or monochrome output, standard USB 2.0 and Ethernet, a graphical color LCD, 100-card input and output hoppers, and manual card feed. An integrated flipper handles automatic two-sided printing. Magnetic encoding and Wi-Fi depend on the selected printer configuration.

The included genuine Zebra 800350-350 YMCKO ribbon provides up to 200 full-color images with a black panel and clear overlay; its cartridge includes a cleaning roller. The bundle also has 500 blank white CR80 PVC cards (30 mil, SKU 81754).

Photos, card design and setup

A Logitech C920S Pro HD USB webcam captures badge photos at up to 1080p/30 fps with autofocus, automatic light correction and a privacy shutter. SoftBadge Creator Basic supplies card templates, photo acquisition, an internal records database and 1D barcodes. SoftBadge is the included design software; CardStudio is not included.

The printer comes with a USB cable and power cord. Windows printer drivers are available from Zebra. Zebra provides a three-year limited warranty on the printer and printhead.

• Included ribbon: One genuine Zebra 800350-350 YMCKO (yellow, magenta, cyan, black and clear overlay) cartridge, rated for up to 200 printed images. The cartridge includes a cleaning roller.

Printing and card handling

• Automatic single- or dual-sided printing on standard CR80 media; edge-to-edge color or monochrome output. Integrated card flipper for automatic two-sided printing.
• Up to 225 single-sided YMCKO color cards/hour and 1,000 single-sided monochrome cards/hour. With a compatible YMCKOK ribbon, up to 150 dual-sided color cards/hour; with suitable monochrome ribbon, up to 500 dual-sided monochrome cards/hour.
• 100-card auto-adjusting input hopper and 100-card output hopper (30 mil cards); guided manual card feed.
• Compatible card sizes: CR80 (ISO 7810 ID-1) and CR79; PVC or PVC composite, 10–40 mil thick. The included cards are CR80, 30 mil.

Speed figures are Zebra batch-printing ratings over USB; actual throughput varies with design and computer setup.

Ribbon use on the dual-sided model

The supplied YMCKO ribbon is compatible with this dual-sided printer. The printer also supports a compatible YMCKOK ribbon for color-front/black-back printing.
