Two-Sided Badges for Busy ID Desks

Equip an employee, campus, or membership ID station with a Fargo DTC4500e system that prints both sides automatically. Put a photo and name on the front and supporting information on the back without manually flipping cards. This kit pairs the printer with Asure ID Solo 7, a Logitech C920S Pro HD webcam, one 700-print ECO YMCKO ribbon, and 500 white CR80 30 mil PVC cards.

More Cards Between Reloads

The dual-input hopper holds up to 200 cards and can help manage two card stocks. A 100-card output hopper keeps finished badges together. USB 2.0 supports a local workstation, while built-in Ethernet allows network printing. The SmartScreen display shows printer status and prompts.

Detailed Photos and Readable Barcodes

Direct-to-card dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer produce edge-to-edge images at 300 dpi. Color panels reproduce portraits and logos; resin black prints text and barcodes. The rated YMCKO speed is approximately 16 seconds for one side, not a complete duplex card.

Ribbon and Blank Cards

The supplied 045230 ECO YMCKO ribbon has yellow, magenta, cyan, resin black, and a clear overlay, plus a cleaning roller. Its yield is up to 700 single-sided prints, or 350 cards with full color on both sides. The overlay is not lamination. The 500 blank PVC cards are credit-card size and have no magnetic stripe or smart chip.

Design and Photo Capture

Asure ID Solo 7 is delivered digitally for Windows. Create dual-sided layouts with photos, logos, text, and linear barcodes, and save up to 200 cardholder records. The USB webcam offers 1080p video at 30 fps, a glass lens, autofocus, automatic light correction, and a privacy shutter.

Setup and Ongoing Care

A USB cable, US/international power cords, Windows printer drivers CD, quick start guide, and three cleaning cards are included. FARGO Workbench diagnostics and Color Assist support maintenance and color adjustment. Printer access can be password protected. The printer and printhead carry a three-year warranty. No encoder, laminator, or fluorescent ribbon is included; specialized credentials require separate compatible supplies and hardware.
