Two-Sided Credentials for Busy Enrollment Teams

Keep identification on the front of a badge and supporting information on the back. The Fargo DTC1500 system prints both sides automatically for staff cards, student credentials, and membership IDs. The kit includes a dual-sided printer, one 500-print YMCKO ribbon, 500 white PVC cards, Asure ID Solo 7 software, and a Logitech C920S Pro HD webcam.

Card Layouts with Room to Spare

At 300 dpi, direct-to-card dye-sublimation produces color images and resin thermal transfer defines black text. The printer handles 100 cards in its input hopper and up to 100 finished cards in the output hopper, based on 30 mil stock.

Built-In Tools for Credential Protection

A custom watermark overlay can incorporate a transparent logo, symbol, or text into the printed card. Resin scramble obscures information remaining on used resin panels. Password protection controls printer use, and AES-256 encryption protects printer data over a secure network. Resin threshold settings let operators adjust black-panel use for text and barcodes.

Ribbon and Cards Supplied

The Fargo 45610 YMCKO ribbon provides up to 500 single-sided prints; duplex yield depends on panel use. It combines yellow, magenta, cyan, resin black, and a clear overlay, with an integrated card cleaning roller. The 500 white CR80 PVC cards are 30 mil thick and contain no magnetic stripe or smart chip.

Design, Photograph, and Issue

Asure ID Solo 7 is delivered digitally and supports front-and-back templates with photos, logos, text, and linear barcodes, plus up to 200 cardholder records. The C920S webcam offers 1080p video at 30 fps, autofocus, automatic light correction, a glass lens, and a privacy shutter.

Workstation and Network Connections

USB 2.0 and Ethernet with an internal print server are standard. A USB cable, US/international power cords, and a printer driver and user guide CD are included. The printer and printhead have a three-year warranty. This configuration includes duplex printing but no encoder or laminator; compatible encoding and lamination hardware requires a separate configuration.
