Not only will the badge holder need to be the right size, it must also be easily attached to the clip, pin or lanyard. • Color framed or color-barred badge holders can be used along with personalized badge reels and lanyards to create a fully customized effect.
• Clear, flexible badge holders may work best for a trade show, but several other styles are available as well. Special magnetic badge holders allow for magnetic cards, or SmartCards to be easily scanned without removing them from the holder. Armband and safety badge holders are best for construction crews, airport traffic controllers and emergency responders.
• For long-term use, such as employee ID badges, a rigid, or wallet style badge holder may be the most secure and long-lasting option. Earth-friendly badge holders are also available, made from 100% recycled plastic.
• For security purposes, some proximity badge holders include locking features, which can prevent an ID badge from being lost or stolen.
