Multifunctional and Smart Cards
Due to technology development, the versatility of plastic cards and card printers has increased significantly. Multifunctional cards are made to help businesses and organizations run more efficiently. A multifunctional card reader, which is operated with a PIN-pad by a user, offers a total self-service to the user.
The multifunctional card reader comprises a holding portion, a first sensing device and a plurality of indicators. The holding portion holds the PIN-pad when the PIN-pad is not used. The first sensing device senses a payment card by a certain technique and receives the account information stored on the payment card. The indicators inform the user of verification of account information. A smart card is disclosed and it includes a processor; a first interface for use in communication with a terminal; a second interface for use in communication with another smart card; and RST generation device for generating a RST signal for the another smart card.
