You ve chosen your badge style, personalized your lanyard, and stocked up on ID Printer accessories, so it may be easy to underestimate the importance of badge clips. These tiny components often go unnoticed unless, of course, they don t work properly.

The wide variety of badge types available have made it necessary to choose the right type of badge clips, pins and findings to go along with them. Whichever one you choose, be sure it is the right size and material to handle the weight of your badge, and it matches the size of your badge holder.

The three types of badge clips most commonly used are Attachable Badge Clips, Pressure Sensitive / Glue-on Badge Clips & Pins, and Magnetic Badge Attachments. They type you choose will depend on how your badges will be used.

Attachable badge clips can be used in a variety of ways, and are usually attached to the badge by rivets or eyelets. They are also used along with lanyards and chains to secure these items together.

Pressure sensitive or glue-on badge clips can be attached to plastic or metal ID cards and badges, as well as other materials, as needed. They are easy to use and feature long lasting bonding materials.

Magnetic badge attachments are the most  clothing-friendly type of attachment, leaving no tears or pinholes in fabrics. These work on both sides of a piece of clothing, with one side being pressure sensitive and the other magnetic.
