ID Cameras allow you to capture an image and send it directly to your ID printer, enabling you to quickly and efficiently make ID Cards and Badges.

There are 3 main types of ID Cameras, all of which are easy to operate and able to handle your needs. These are:

- All components (camera, digital images ID Card system) are integrated into one location
Limitations:
- Camera is attached to computer - no mobility


Benefits:
- Remote usage
- Inexpensive
Limitations:
- Require components (i.e. wiring) to interconnect with computer


Benefits: - High quality resolution for images
- Can work with several computers
- Quick speed and refresh rate
Limitations:
- Mounted on tripod - low mobility

Finally, when purchasing a camera, there are 3 main questions you should ask yourself:
1. Who will be in charge of creating my ID Badges?
2. Where will my camera be primarily situated?
3. How quickly do I need my ID Badges to be made?
